AUSTIN FILM SCHOOL

AUSTIN is the capital of TEXAS and
the 52nd largest DMA in the U.S. The city, home to the University
of Texas, relishes it’s little town bigness. The city’s official
slogan, "The Live Music Capital of the World", reflects the large music
culture that has grown up in Austin. The long running PBS Show
Austin City Limits is testimony to Austin’s love affair with music,
which is as diverse as the makeup of its student population.
RECORDING CONNECTION's Music Recording Program has always found Austin
to be a great city for our unique mentor/apprentice program in large
part because of the significant part music plays in Austin’s
makeup.
Feature films have found a friendly locale in Austin. In fact
